These ads use striking yet highly relevant visual imagery and well-organized, clearly laid-out copy to set Terminix apart from its competitors. The house shield sends a powerful message to the consumer who is in the process of deciding whether or not to contact Terminix. The shield communicates that Terminix understands your need to protect your investment and the pairing of this shield with important copy (and the reinforcing headline) should help motivate the reader to contact Terminix. Similar to the first place winner, the judges appreciated how adding a touch of color to the concept helps the smaller ad break through the clutter.
