The response to the 2005 - 2006 creative competition was overwhelming. We received over 300 entries which represented the work of 573 students enrolled at 67 colleges and universities. On behalf of everyone at the Yellow Pages Association, I'd like to extend our gratitude to all the instructors who provided invaluable guidance to these talented students.
Judging took place on May 1, 2006, and it would be an understatement to say that the judges had a difficult time in selecting the winners. The quality of the work was consistently outstanding. In the end, the judges selected the entries that represented the ideal goal of Yellow Pages advertising:
visually creative work that has great potential to breakthrough directory clutter without sacrificing the communication of information likely to be important to the consumer when s/he is about to make a purchase decision.
I'm proud to present the winners. Just click on any of the links in the left-hand column to see the outstanding work.
Finally, I invite you to participate in the 2006 - 2007 Collegiate Creative Competition. Use the pull-down menu at the top of the page to learn more about this year's competition.
